Paul Taublieb
Producer/Co-Director/Writer
Paul Taublieb is a film and television producer, writer, and director dedicated to character-based, story-driven projects specializing in the world of action sports. He is also CEO and founder of Media X International (MXi), a company considered a leader in live event production in motorsports and action sports.
Productions include "Flipped Out - The Story of the Ultimate Freestyle Moto X Manuever" (Warner Bros.), "Kelly Slater - The Pipeline Sessions," (ESPN/Activision), "World Snowboard Championships" (ESPN), Mike Metzger's "Impossible Jump" performing a world record backflip over Caesar's Palace fountains (ESPN), and the award-winning "FMX Riot" series (RushHD), among many others.
In addition, he created and produced the Op Pro Boat Trip Challenge, Camp Jeep "Thrills & Spills for NBC Sports, and was a consultant on the creation of the ESPN X Games, for whom he works as the official Sport Organizer of all Moto X competitions, including Freestyle, Step Up, Supermoto and Moto X Racing (motocross).
A former award-winning journalist, Taublieb has also produced network, fact-based television movies for CBS, NBC and Showtime, and is currently developing a 3D IMAX surfing film.
He lives in Malibu, CA, where the company is based, with his wife and three sons.
